Claudia and Denshloy come from non-conventional backgrounds that ultimately led them to a meaningful journey in fostering. With over 11 years of experience in the field, they were introduced to the concept of parent and child placements, which ignited a passion within them to undergo the necessary training. They recognised the profound benefits of preparing parents before any consideration is given to the removal of a child and placement into care.

Firm believers in the potential for every parent to learn and grow when provided with the right support, Claudia and Denshloy understand that it truly takes a village to raise a child and equip a parent. Unfortunately, our society does not always operate with this understanding, leaving many parents without essential resources and guidance.

In response to this need, they established Haven Oasis, a nurturing environment dedicated to creating that much-needed village for parents seeking a helping hand. Their vision is to foster empowerment, support, and transformation, ensuring every parent has the opportunity to thrive. Through Haven Oasis, Claudia and Denshloy are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of families, one step at a time.

With over 11 years of experience as a foster carer and 4 years specifically as a parent and child foster carer, Claudia possesses a deep understanding of the challenges families face. Her journey has been marked by unwavering dedication to nurturing children’s development and supporting parents on their journey to growth and healing.

Claudia’s commitment to fostering positive relationships is at the heart of Haven Oasis CIC’s mission.
